The San Francisco-based handset maker, Obi Mobileshad launched their smartphones with decent specifications at an affordable price range. Now, the company has launched another smartphone in Vietnam with proper specifications, which is named as Obi Worldphone S507. It has been listed on their official page and comes with polycarbonate body with rounded corners. The handset is priced at 2990000 VND (approx. $125 in US / approx. Rs. 8962 in India) and is mostly not available outside of Vietnam. This smartphone comes packed with the dual microphone noise filtering function that is designed to filter ambient noise from the desired sound which is especially useful in noisy environments.
The Obi Worldphone S507 smartphone sports 5.0-inch FHD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is s offering 441 PPI of pixel density and comes with an Anti-glare screen, anti-dust and fingerprints on the front. Under the hood, it comes equipped with a 64-bit octa-core (4×1.5GHz and 4×1.0GHz) processor that has a Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 615 SoC paired with Adreno 405 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory with the expansion up to 32GB through a MicroSD card. This smartphone is powered by an outdated Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with pre-installed applications and will be available in Black and White color options.
On the photography, the device packed with 13MP autofocus rear camera with aperture f/3.0, Samsung S5K4H5HYC and LED flash and 5MP resolution with Samsung S5K3M2XX13 sensor on the front. The other camera features on the device include Identify geographic location, autofocus, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, Continuous shooting, Face beauty, Photographed while filming, shooting night and can also record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. The Obi Worldphone S507 smartphone supports dual Micro SIM (using two separate slot – easy mounting & suitable for all bands) and is offering 4G LTE network.
The other connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Edge / GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio speaker and FM Radio. It is packed with a 3000 mAh Li-Ion capacity battery that is rated to deliver up to 10 days ( 250 hours ) of standby time and gives a talk time up to 6 hours on 2G. This smartphone is measured by a 139.8 x 69.6 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and is weighing around 140 grams including battery. The sensors on the smartphone include Accelerometer, Light sensor, ALS and Asymptotic sensor. Recently, this brand had launched few smartphones such as Obi Worldphone SJ1.5, Obi Worldphone MV1, and Obi Worldphone SF1.
