Gionee S10 with 5.5-inch 1080p display, visits GFXbench

Recently Gionee S10 was recently spotted on TENNA (Chinese certification website) with the model name 'Gionee S10B'. However, now the same handset has been found listed on GFXbench website as well.

As per GFXBench listing the Gionee S10 comes with 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display. There is 4 Gigabyte of RAM in it. This 4GB of RAM is coupled with additional 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a MicroSD card. Powering the same is an Octa-Core 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P10 chipset. The handset will measure 154.5 × 76 × 7.6 mm and weighs around 176.6 grams.The smartphone is also expected to have a fingerprint scanner.

Most of the specifications on GFXbench listing are inline with TENAA listing, except the rear camera. While according to GFXbench website, there is a single camera setup with 12-megapixel sensor (in actual its 13MP), as per TENAA, it is said to come with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel.

The smartphone will be backed by a 3700mAh non-removable battery. Besides the smartphone will offer 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and all basic connectivity functions. The phone is listed in Gold and Black colour options. The company will launch the Gionee S10 on May 26th.

Asus accidentally leaked out four ZenFone 4-branded smartphone

Asus accidentally leaked the ZenFone 4 series on its French website, possibly revealing the unreleased phones a mere days ahead of the official launch. The leak indicates the launch of at least four new smartphones in the ZenFone 4 series, including the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Max.Incidentally, Asus already launched the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia last month, but this leak suggests that a global variant of the smartphone is on the cards.
