Gboard on Android gets big update, improvements for most features

Gboard for Android is getting a pretty nice update this week. There are improvements across most of the app — emoji and GIF suggestions while you type, better voice typing, even more background themes, and even Google Translate access. On a smaller note, emoji, web, and GIF search can be used in right-to-left languages. New features: Gboard also has emoji search to help you find emojis faster, plus GIF search, and multilingual typing to let you switch languages on the fly.Press and hold Enter to choose from hundreds of emoji in any app (Android 4.4+). While you’re pecking away at the keyboard, emoji and GIF suggestions will now show up in the keyboard suggestion area. Google's new tool lets you design your mobile homescreen,worth a try!

Android is super customisable. There are so many icon packs, wallpapers, and launchers available to customize your home screen.It becomes very hard to find the right design for your home screen. But now you need not to worry as  Android announced on Twitter   the #myAndroid Taste Test, which is a quick test that asks you a bunch of different questions about your design tastes, and then suggests different home screens at the end. I took the test myself and it was fun all the way. It ask you series of questions about how you like your home screen to have like Vibrant or muted Light or dark Warm or cool Patterned or random Realistic or abstract Each  of the questions is accompanied by a fun picture of GIF, and there’s plenty of fun questions mixed in as well. While 2016’s Android 7.0 Nougat added split-screen mode and direct reply to messages, we’re hearing that this year’s update will add more features that make the OS more efficient to use, and also a candy codename.   Technology has come out in a long way in facilitating human a lot in day to day life.One of the most important advancement is the way technology making it possible to share files with each other from around the world using the many cloud storage services that we can find.
