Reliance Jio Free 4G Tariff might Stop on 3rd December 2016 for everyone – TRAI

The latest new about Jio will definitely blow the mind of all the free 4G data user enjoying during the welcome period . According to a TRAI guideline, a telecom operator cannot offer a promotion offer for more than 90 days and hence will have to stop the same by 3rd December. If this is not done there would be a penalty but knowing reliance we think they might find a work around and go ahead with some solution to ensure that they can still continue the free offering & gain  millions of subscribers to their network . Airtel Will Soon Offer 4G Services in 3 More Circles

Nokia has inked a new deal with Airtel to expand 4G deployment in three new circles in addition to six circles it already serves, enabling launch of new services that started in September Nokia will deploy its 4G FDD-LTE & TD-LTE technology across nine of Bharti Airtel’s circles in India including the regions of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rest of Bengal, Odisha, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Kerala and UP East, serving major cities such as Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Patna and Siliguri. Nokia will also expand the operator’s 3G network in eight of the territories as part of this rollout and modernization of legacy 2G BTS. The rollout uses Nokia’s radio access with Single RAN technology for FDD-LTE and TD-LTE. Airtel Unveils V-Fiber Broadband Service With Speeds Up to 100Mbps

Following in the heels of Reliance Jio-Fiber Airtel launched V-Fiber Broadband service in India starting with Chennai on Thursday. The V-Fiber service - which offers speeds up to 100Mbps - will be rolled out the 87 other cities in India that have Airtel's broadband service in the coming weeks, starting with Delhi & NCR and Bengaluru.Airtel also announced unlimited free voice call in to all broadband customer which was only restricted to some plans.The customer can make free calls to any networks across India. The company notes the processing of upgrading to the V-Fiber network will not require it to dig up roads or re-wire, instead, it will boosts the last mile copper connectivity by using 'noise elimination technology' it is referring to as Vectorization. TRAI to investigate whether Reliance Jio’s free voice offer is predatory for other telcos

Reliance Jio’s promotional plan that offered free voice calls until this year’s end has got Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) investigate the matter. Brought by India's largest telcos Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular, the complaint to TRAI want clarification on the matter from the regulator. "Operators have come and met us and in continuation with the letter they have submitted earlier, raised the interconnection usage charges (IUC), predatory and non-discriminatory pricing and other issues," Trai chairman RS Sharma told the Economic Times , adding that the authority would study the complaints.

Reliance Jio Effect: Airtel Launches 30GB 4G Prepaid Data Pack With 90-Day Validity

Airtel on Friday unveiled a “special 4G data pack that offers free data for 90 days”. In the Delhi circle, the pack is priced at Rs. 1,495 for existing prepaid users, and Rs. 1,494 for new users on their first recharge. The telecom operator says the new ‘special 4G data pack’ is currently available in the Delhi circle, but will be launched across other circles over the “next few days.” Of course, the decision to offer such a pack could be seen as a move to counter the much-talked about entry of Reliance Jio into the Indian telecom market. The foray has already had several ripples, and is expected to continue to drop the market’s tariffs across voice and data plans.
