  Nokia at its MWC 2017 event in Barcelona announced that all Withings products will acquire the Nokia brand name. Withings is a fitness and health-focused brand that Nokia had acquired in June 2016. Withings is known for its Activite range of fitness trackers and all of its products will be Nokia branded from the summer 2017, the company said in a statement on its website. “We are excited to announce that in early summer 2017, our award-winning range of products will transition to the Nokia brand,” the statement read. The brand name change is just the beginning, Withings said, "The company aims to totally revamp its Health Mate app that includes new coaching programmes and a new feature called Patient Care. Nokia has inked a new deal with Airtel to expand 4G deployment in three new circles in addition to six circles it already serves, enabling launch of new services that started in September Nokia will deploy its 4G FDD-LTE & TD-LTE technology across nine of Bharti Airtel’s circles in India including the regions of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rest of Bengal, Odisha, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Kerala and UP East, serving major cities such as Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Patna and Siliguri. Nokia’s return to the smartphone market is eagerly awaited by everyone; this is precisely why the listing of company’s recently spotted D1C device on benchmark site GFX Bench is likely to disappoint many. As per the listing, the D1C is a 13.8-inch Android tablet, and not a smartphone as anticipated earlier. Earlier this month , the specifications of a Nokia D1C device were leaked via benchmark site Geekbench, which interestingly, didn't provide the size of the screen on the device at the time. However, a new listing on GFX Bench clarifies the display size, and tips other specifications. Nokia recently announced it is set to make a comeback in the global smartphone market. Now, specifications of a Nokia D1C has been spotted on Geekbench 3. Looks like multiple benchmark tests were conducted on D1C, and the results were posted on September 30. Nokia D1C gained the highest of 682 in single-core score and 3299 in multi-core score. The site reveals D1C runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM. Other specifications of the device are currently unknown.
