Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with 6.44-inch display, 5300mAh battery launched in China

Xiaomi today launched at an event in Beijing, where Xiaomi’s founder Lei Jun was also present along with other executives from the company, marking the end to all rumours and speculations rounding the device.As the Mi Max did much well even it had the largest screen last year so expectations is high this time around for the successor.  Display & Design: Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a 6.44-inch full-HD IPS display with a 1080x1920 pixel resolution and 342 ppi pixel density. The device sports a metal unibody design just like the previous version of the phone. However, this time Xiaomi has gone for muted antenna bands on the top of the Mi Max 2, rather than the prominent ones in the previous version of the phone. Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 launched in South Korea

Samsung today launched Samsung Wide 2 in South Korea.The phone is the successor of Galaxy Wide and will be launched globally in the name of Galaxy J7 as per reports by PhoneArena.The design of the Samsung Wide 2 look similar to the render images of J7 which were published in March. Specifications are also akin to the leaks. Samsung Wide 2  comes with a 5.5-inch touchscreen and will carry a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Samsung has added a 1.5 Ghz processor into the phone, and it comes with a 1.5GB of RAM. There will be a 16GB of internal storage and can be expanded to 256GB via Micro SD card. The handset  have a dimensions of 151.5 x 76.4 x 8.6 mm. The device is powered by 3300 mAh battery, and the phone weigh around 170 grams. iPhone 8 leaked in video, shows no home button

There have been many iPhone 8 leaks which are going around in the market, but the latest leak is a video which shows the phone held in hand.                    The video above clearly gives us a glimpse of the phone and showcase the actual design.We can clearly see the phone from all the angles.Along with the video,there are two more leaks which have hit the market. Most important the video shows no home button as a usual iPhone have.There is no fingerprint sensors neither in the front nor in the back.Which could mean that Apple might be launching the much-rumored display embedded Touch ID sensor. Microsoft Moves Most Windows Code to Git, Held By Newly Launched Git Virtual File System

Microsoft today introduced that it is almost moved wholesale to the Git version control system. The company says most of its engineers now use the control system for development of Windows operating systems. Because Git was not built for a project this big, Microsoft has debuted the Git Virtual File System, which the company announced already in February. The creating of the GVFS, Microsoft has a system that is able to deliver the benefits of Git without having to wait hours for commands to run. This is one of the limitations of regular Git. Microsoft’s Windows Git repository is 3.5 million files that are 300GB.  Microsoft has open sourced Git Virtual File System, which is available under the MIT license on GitHub. The company says moving Window engineers to Git took around three months. The switch means Microsoft is replacing the previous Source Depot that housed Windows code. Microsoft’s new Surface Pro (2017): Specs, price, and features

Microsoft announced the new Surface Pro for 2017 at an event in Shanghai, and the product is already up for pre-orders in the US and other countries. On the India site for Microsoft, Surface Pro (2017) is still listed as ‘coming soon’, and its India price has not been announced. In terms of design, the new Surface Pro continues with the same look that we’ve come to expect from the series. Microsoft claims they have added over “800 new custom parts and used 99% of the space inside the device”. Samsung to supply OLED shipment to Apple for its next flagships:reveals sizes

Apple iPhone 8 has not yet launched. Samsung Display, the display-making unit of Samsung Electronics has recently signed a deal with Apple to supply OLED panels for the new iPhone next year, tentatively called the iPhone 9, The Bell reported on May 23. The latest deal comes as the display maker is supplying 80 million OLED screens for at least one of the three variants of the upcoming iPhone, presumably the iPhone 8 that will be launched in September this year.
