A new Panasonic smartphone, which is named as Panasonic Eluga Icon 2, is now available for Rs 8,499 from e-commerce portal Amazon. The Eluga Icon 2 smartphone comes in brown color option.
The Panasonic Eluga Icon 2 has a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280p) IPS (In-plane Switching) display with pixel density of 267 ppi. It is fitted with a 1.3 GHz octa core processor, which is paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone has 16GB of internal storage as well as an expandable storage slot for up-to a 32GB micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is backed up by 3000mAh battery.
The Panasonic Eluga Icon 2 smartphone boasts an 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Moreover, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a micro USB 2.0 port, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, and Ambient light sensor. The Panasonic P75 measures 155 x 75 x 7.9 mm and weighs 120 grams.
Panasonic had earlier launched Panasonic Eluga Icon for Rs 10,999 in August last year. The smartphone is equipped with a 5.5 HD IPS screen and supports 4G/LTE networks. The Panasonic Eluga Icon has a 1.5 GHz True Octa Core processor that runs the phone with the help of 2 GB RAM. It has 16 GB built in memory which is further expandable to upto 32 GB via a micro SD card and it has OTG functionality as well. However, it has the older Android KitKat operating system.
