PoGo-UWP is an UWP (Universal Windows Platform) client for Niantic’s Pokemon™ Go Android/iOS game. Being a client, this means that it gives you the ability to play in the same game-world as your friends that are playing with an Android or iOS device.

How To Install PoGo-UWP
It is not available via Windows 10 Store and you need to sideload it. Here are the steps.

  • Create a Pokemon™ Trainer Club account by visiting this link.
  • Login on the Android/iOS app to choose your starter or in case you don’t have an Android / iOS device you can use Bluestacks.
  • Logout from the official app
  • Download the file from here
  • Change your storage settings from SD card to phone storage (or it won’t install and throw error)
  • Enable Device Portal by following the Microsoft article here.
  • Navigate to APPS page on Device Portal
  • Choose PokemonGo-UWP_version.appx under “Install App”
  • Click on “Add Dependency” twice and add the files that are inside Dependencies folder
  • Click on “Go” under “Deploy” and wait until “Done!” is shown
  • Launch the app on your device
  • Login
  • By following the above steps you can now play the game on your Windows 10 Mobile devices.

Apple launches iPhone8, iPhone 8Plus & iPhone X

Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced the launch of iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Apple Watch Series 3 and the 4K Apple TV at a event in Cupertino, California.  The iPhone X has face recognition technology and the iPhone 8, 8 Plus have better cameras.   After months of rumours and leaks, Apple finally launched the iPhone X marking its 10th anniversary iPhones as well as some major updates in Apple Watch and Apple TV. Asus accidentally leaked out four ZenFone 4-branded smartphone

Asus accidentally leaked the ZenFone 4 series on its French website, possibly revealing the unreleased phones a mere days ahead of the official launch. The leak indicates the launch of at least four new smartphones in the ZenFone 4 series, including the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Max.Incidentally, Asus already launched the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia last month, but this leak suggests that a global variant of the smartphone is on the cards.
