| Leeco take another shot at Apple in new teaser |
Talking about the Le Pr0 3, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor which offers 10% better performance the Snapdragon 820 SoC. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the world’s first smartphone to use the new Snapdragon 821 SoC.
LeEco Le Pro 3 isn't going to be a massive departure from the company's signature design, as it features a metallic unibody design, mirror-surfaced fingerprint scanner at the back, large camera module next to an LED flash and the horizontal antenna lines. LeEco's new logo is found at the bottom of the rear panel and the power and volume buttons are placed at the right side of the device.
The internet conglomerate has been teasing the launch of its new smartphone and also trolling Apple on several occasions. LeEco's official Weibo account shared some teasers for the Le Pro 3, showcasing skill sets to master Apple's latest iPhone 7 Plus in areas such as battery, performance and innovation.
The official teasers confirmed Le Pro 3 to sport bigger battery with fast charging technology and will be the slimmest device from LeEco. Though the leaked images suggest the device to launch in two variants with 6GB and 8GB RAM variants along with other flagship specifications. In reality, we don’t expect the company to launch a smartphone with 8GB of RAM. We can only confirm all this after the official launch in China next week. The recently leaked image which is mentioned to be of Le Pro 3 lacks the dual camera setup, so there will be another device launching in 2016 with dual rear cameras.
From the above featured image, we can see the design of Le Pro 3 to be similar to Le Max 2 and Le 2 smartphones, but it comes with a brushed Aluminum body. Once it is made available in China, the company might also bring it to the Indian market.Though Chinese Internet giant has not officially confirmed the Le Pro 3's storage configuration, it is said to be leaving no stone unturned to make the upcoming device stand out among rivals.
LeEco's upcoming Le Pro 3, in addition to massive battery, will have Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 821 backed with 8GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage, making it the world's first smartphone to have such a configuration. This is unprecedented. Most of the desktops and notebooks do not even have half the RAM capacity. The Le Pro 3 will come in two variants, both powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset.
A smaller 5.5-inch model will come with 1080p display resolution, a 16MP primary camera, an 8MP selfie snapper, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage and a 4,070mAh battery. The leaked photos of the Le Pro 3 show the 5.5-inch variant, GSM Arena reported.
The higher-end Le Pro 3 variant can be differentiated by its dual camera setup featuring 13MP sensors, a 16MP selfie camera, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a larger 5.7-inch QHD display and a 5,000mAh battery.
