Reliance launches Lyf water 9


Amidst consumers complaining of poor quality of Jio service Reliance launched Lyf water 9.The LYF Water 9 smartphone which we first reported in August is now launched in the Indian market. It is rebranded version of Haier V4, and even all the LYF smartphones are just rebranded variants of Chinese smartphones.

With the LYF Water 9 price at Rs. 8,499; the company is offering pretty decent hardware. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x 1080 pixels) display and is protected by 2.5D Dragontrail glass on top. Under the hood, the Water 9 is powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that can be expanded via MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, the device packs a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera.

LYF is also offering one year additional manufacturer warranty on top of the basic one year warranty. It is backed by a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. On the software front, the device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out-of-the-box, but the company promises it will soon be updated.The Jio Welcome Offer will come bundled with the device offering unlimited 4G internet, voice calls, and SMS. The users can also enjoy Jio suite of apps including Jio TV, Jio Music, Jio NewsPaper for free till the end of 2017. Stay tuned for more updates!
