Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is expected to be launched by the company in India on 19th January but seems like the Xiaomi fans in India will be getting not one but two Xiaomi phones on 19th. A new Xiaomi device has been leaked that sources claim as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. This could be the another variant of Redmi Note 4. The reports say that this will be a rather more powerful variant of the Redmi Note 4.

We have previously seen many leaks about the new smartphone from Xiaomi. The smartphone was leaked on the Chinese certification agency’s website TENAA. The TENAA listing had all the specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x listed there. The device was later leaked to come with an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. 

Now we have some more information about the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x. This time we have got an image of the device leaked. The leaked image show that the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x comes with a home button at front. The home button will have the fingerprint scanner embedded into it.At last, this model features a capacitive home button. This is the greatest change in terms of design, because its predecessor comes with three touch buttons placed under the screen.Thus Xiaomi decided to follow the trend.


IS THIS XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 4X?


Coming to the specifications, sources claim that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will come with 4GB RAM and MediaTek X20 chip. On the other hand, most of the sources say that it is going to be Snapdragon variant of Redmi Note 4 and will ship with the Snapdragon 653. Coming to other aspects, it is expected to come with a 13MP rear and probably 5 or 8MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by a 4,100 mAh battery that is more than enough for a whole day usage as we know how great the batteries of Xiaomi devices perform. ( Example: Redmi 3S).


 In fact, it has been spotted on a Xiaomi related online website also where it is priced at $269.99. Here is an overview of the specifications as revealed by that website:
  • 5.5-inch screen, 1920 x 1080 pixel display
  • Snapdragon 653
  • 13MP back camera + 5MP front camera
  • 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM
  • MIUI 8
Chances are that the company will launch it in India as the Snapdragon devices are preferred over MediaTek ones.

Seems not that much is changed in terms of specs list. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is said to come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display like its sibling. But here is a big surprise – the Redmi Note 4X should be the first phone to use Pegasus panel.
 
This model is rumored to come with a Snapdragon 635 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz (28nm / 4×A53 at 1.95GHz + 4×A72 at 1.44GHz). It’s a great upgrade in comparison to the current version’s MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz. It’s paired with an Adreno 510, 4GB and 32GB / 64GB of internal memory. This means the company has improved the RAM as well.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will sport a 4000mAh battery with fast charge support, and the actual maximum power should be 15W.Finally, it sports a 16MP rear camera and supports FDD B5/8. Thus it’s a 4G supporting device.

No one will surprise if the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X costs 999 / 1199 yuan ($144 / $173) for the 4GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB versions, respectively. It’s still unknown when the phone will appear in stores, but we have heard the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 production is closed, and the manufacturer has started the production of this model.
