Hauwei after launching Honor V9 in China in February is going for a Global launch on 5th April.
The company has sent out media
launch invites for the Honor V9 launch globally. The launch
event is scheduled to happen on 5th April. The Honor V9 will be
launching globally in Gold, Blue and Black colors. Pricing and
availability details will be available on 5th April
only.
The Honor V9 comes with phablet sized 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560x1440p. The display panel used is much older TFT. It is powered by an Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset coupled with Mali G-71 GPU. The company is giving us an option to choose from 4GB and 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM variants. The Honor V9 comes with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage variants with MicroSD card slot. In terms of camera, it has got 12MP of dual sensors at the back. The rear cameras have F/2.2 aperture which isn’t such large as expected. The main camera at rear side has dual LED flash. On the front, we have got 8MP sensor with wide angle lens. The rear camera of Honor V9 is touted as world’s first mobile camera with 3D modelling. Honor has managed to fit 4000mAh battery in a 6.97mm slim frame. We expect it to provide great battery performance. Dimensions of Honor V9 are 157 x 77.5 x 6.97 mm and weighing and weighs 184 grams.
In terms of pricing, we can base our thoughts on the pricing in China, as the base 4GB/64GB model starts at ~$377. There are two other variants, with the 6GB/64GB option going for ~$436, and the 6GB/128GB variant priced at ~$508.6.
