| Alleged OnePlus 5 image render on Weibo |
Earlier reports have stated that the company's next flagship smartphone will arrive this summer. While OnePlus 5 is touted to be the new successor to the OnePlus 3 and 3T from last year, there are few concrete details about the new phone. Most of it remains a mystery and rumors.
Now a new leak have surfaced. As you can see in the image there is numerical 4 is mention within a X.OnePlus has used the Star Wars theme and have mentioned the number 4. Well, the number signifies the Star Wars day which is May 4.
But we can definitely be certain that the company will not use 4 as it is considered unlucky in China. So there will be not OnePlus 4 as succesor to 3/3T.It is impossible for us to say or predict what the company wants to convey with image. But one guess can be that the company is showcasing the design of the OnePlus 5 from the side view.If you look at image carefully it seems like the'X' are the OnePlus 5 crossing each other showing the slimmer look of the phone from the side.
If you look carefully you can also see that there is a slight camera bump at the back but it is still unclear whether the phone will have dual camera setup or not. The phone's power and volume rockers are also noticeable at the sides. Interestingly this looks way different from the OnePlus 3T.
Having said so the number 4 in the image still remains a mystery.I think as time progress all this mystery will clear out.
