Sony has traditionally launched new Xperia products at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin for the last few years, so we would guess the same will apply this year. IFA takes place between 1 to 6 September 2017.
We don’t know much about Sony’s plans for its H2 flagships, but interestingly during the investor meeting a question was asked about the company’s plans to move to a different aspect ratio (18:9) or adopting OLED displays. The response was that while their plans were commercially sensitive, Sony is naturally basing future products on this assumption. As to what timeline, Sony was referring to here, remains unclear.
