Reliance Jio 4G has 6 Million+ Live Users, No New SIM Cards to be Issued for few days

The whole reason to stop issuing SIM cards for the small period is because the company is targeting to complete the activation of pending SIM cards before the AGM (Annual General Meeting) on September 1st. Moreover, the telecom firm is expecting to increase the active user up to 10 Million before the investors and shareholders meeting, which would be led by Mukesh Ambani.RelianceJIO is going to announce its commercial launch on September 1st. According to our trusted source, The man himself will go on stage during their Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled on September 1st. Mr Ambani would be addressing the shareholders and investors where the prominent commercial launch of JIO’s 4G service across India would be announced.

India has been waiting for the JIO 4G launch since quite a time now. Last year the company extended it beta launch to family and friends of their employees. While this year has seen a major turn of events as the company started promoting it’s JIO Preview Offer with the sale of LYF handsets. They are Reliance Retail branded smartphones sold exclusively online and offline via their own stores. But since then has been extended to many areas.

Coming to the talk Mukesh Ambani’s Commercial launch announcement. He is likely to announce the final date of the launch, which is speculated sometime late in December. As you recall, last year on December 28th the grand event was held in Mumbai for Beta launch where Bollywood Celebrity Shah Rukh Khan and Internationally acclaimed musician A R Rahman was invited to host the event. If you didn’t know, 28th December marks the birth anniversary of Mukesh Ambani’s late father, Dhirubhai Ambani. He is the iconic leader who started Reliance group decades ago with a vision to make India ahead among other countries.

In last year’s AGM meeting, Mukesh Ambani announced that JIO is physically present in all of 29 states in countries with a direct physical presence in nearly 18,000 cities and towns of our country. It is said that approximately 80% coverage would be achieved by the end of 2015. The roadmap is to make that 100% in the next three years. So, looking at the last year’s meeting, we expect JIO to announce some astonishing numbers regarding its user base, footprints and more.

It is also expected that tariffs for existing customers would be announced at the company’s AGM. Jio is also said to file for a tariff plan with TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) soon. With fear of disrupting the market, the current telecom providers have been announcing the benefits on their existing data packs.
