Coolpad Note 5 With 4010mAh Battery, 4G VoLTE Support Launched in India

Coolpad India launched a new smartphone Coolpad Note 5 in India. Note 5 comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back. The company says one can unlock the phone with a fingerprint scanner in 0.5 seconds. It had a 4010mAh battery and priced at INR 10,999. It will be available on Amazon India exclusively starting from October 20.Note 5 launched by The Great Khali at the event.


 The metal-unibody dual-SIM Coolpad Note 5 smartphone bears a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with 2.5D Curved Glass and a pixel density of 401ppi. It runs Cool UI 8.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, coupled with the Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
On the photography front, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with dual LED flash light. The 8-megapixel front selfie camera also comes with LED flash on the front.

The Note 5 bears a fingerprint scanner on the back panel that's touted to unlock the smartphone in 0.5 seconds. It also supports gesture shortcuts, as well as support for both left and right hand input. The company notes that the Coolpad Note 5 supports all 4G bands in India, with 4G VoLTE support as well.
The Coolpad Note 5 sports a Dual Space system that was first seen on the Coolpad Max, and enables users to have two accounts of WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and other apps on the same phone. A Multi-Screen feature is also being touted, though there is not too much clarity on this front for now.

Asus accidentally leaked out four ZenFone 4-branded smartphone

Asus accidentally leaked the ZenFone 4 series on its French website, possibly revealing the unreleased phones a mere days ahead of the official launch. The leak indicates the launch of at least four new smartphones in the ZenFone 4 series, including the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Max.Incidentally, Asus already launched the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia last month, but this leak suggests that a global variant of the smartphone is on the cards.
