Moto M, the much-awaited smartphone from Motorola specifications again leaked today. This time all most all the major specifications about the device are revealed except little bit doubt on the total amount of RAM.
A press render leak of the Moto M has been discovered by TechDroider, pretty much confirming the unibody look, as well as speculation that the fingerprint sensor would be moved to the back of the device — which makes it different from Lenovo’s flagship, the Moto Z. We can also see that the fingerprint sensor doesn’t double as the Moto logo, which is instead placed near the bottom of the phone.
As per the leaked specification sheet, Moto M will have 5.5-inch Full HD display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The phone likely to equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with 2.0 GHz clock speed. On the graphics side, it may have Adreno 506 graphics processor.
Previously, we got a look at the design of the upcoming Moto M, which looks to be much more in line with last year’s Moto X than the new Moto Z. The device features a vertical camera module along with a fingerprint sensor on the back. The images were leaked through China’s regulatory certification, and were then posted to Chinese social media site Weibo.
Lenovo and Microsoft recently made a deal that would allow Motorola and its parent company to bundle Microsoft apps onto its smartphones. The Moto M may be the first Android smartphone from Motorola to come with these apps, according to TechDroider.
The pre-installed apps would only be present in the international variant of the Moto M — you’ll find apps like Microsoft Office, OneDrive, and Skype. We can’t verify this information yet, and TechDroider does not provide or refer to a source
The phone equipped with regular sensors such as proximity, light, gyroscope, vibration, gravitation, e-Compass, etc., Moto M may come with bigger battery capacity i.e. 5100 mAh which provides longer battery life.
Moto M comes with 1.5 Watts speaker which has SMART amplifier facility. The phone should have two microphones, in which first one works as the audio receptor and the second one will be used for noise cancellation.
According to the latest leak, however, there will be two different Moto M’s offered — one exclusively for the Chinese market, which will offer 4GB of memory plus 65GB or 128GB of storage; and one for the international market, which comes with either 3 or 4GB of memory and 32GB or 128 GB of storage.
