Reliance launches Lyf F1 plus

Reliance launched Lyf F1 plus.Reliance claims that the handset is future ready for any advanced 4G network.The handset look somewhat premium and I liked the look of it.After launching LYF F1 Special Edition smartphone few days back, LYF has silently launched a new variant of F1 Special Edition smartphone, which is dubbed as LYF F1 Plus. The smartphone is priced at Rs 13,099 and is available for purchase through Snapdeal.

The LYF F1 Plus has almost identical specifications as of F1 Special Edition smartphone, except the processor. The LYF F1 Plus is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core Samsung Exynos processor, where as F1 Special Edition is equipped with (1.52GHz + 1.21GHz) octa-core Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) processor.

The Lyf F1 Plus supports 4G LTE bands in India. The handset also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility. The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM) Lyf F1 Plus sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and supports 4G connectivity only on a single SIM card slot at a time.

The Lyf F1 Plus smartphone is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 32GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). It sports a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel fixed-focus front camera.

Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB, apart from 4G (LTE Cat. 4 support). The handset weighs 152 grams and it is backed by a 3200mAh battery.

The alleged Lyf Water 9, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch full-HD display and also comes with 2.5D DragonTrail glass on top. It is said to be powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The handset will come with expandable storage via microSD card. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is said to run Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The launch was first reported by PhoneRadar.
