After launching Moto 5 and Moto 5 plus it seems Motorola is testing a smartphone that may have been previously released from Moto X (2017), which can be found from the top of the camera with the front lens and front support. LED fill light, the bottom of the screen is suspected to be a physical touch-type fingerprint identification Home button, will use one-piece metal body and double lens design.
Four images of an alleged prototype have surfaced on Google+ with notorious leaker hellomotoHK providing confirmation that this device is indeed a new Moto X.
Just below is a distinctive inset for the ‘batwing’ logo found on the original Moto X and in later generations. Up front is a 5.5-inch display with the same oblong fingerprint sensor found on the G5/Plus

Another photo shows Moto X (2017) in the recovery mode, you can find the phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 eight core processor, 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM, but did not show the battery capacity. The information about Moto X (2017) is rather scarce, and the other is that the specs of device is positioned higher than the G series, but the exact specifications are Moto's official release. Using of Snapdragon 625 instead of Snapdragon 820 or 835 ,this move might signal the X dropping down from its former flagship position.
It’s unclear when this device will be released given that Motorola just announced new devices at MWC.
