Xiaomi Patent apply Folding Display Phone as future plan

Xiaomi have done everything from bezel-less to bezel phone and they have been successful.Now they are getting their hands on folding display phone. 

Xiaomi is investing heavily in research and development and they are trying everything to stay at the top from their competitors.As the mobile industry is saturated and heavily competitive one has to come out with new innovations and ideas.And in that case Xiaomi is the master of all tricks and trades.

As such Xiaomi has filed a Patent in China that revealed that Xiaomi has got a foldable smartphone in the works. 

Xiaomi's patent shows that the phone would actually feature separate screens that fold around a central curved panel.The would give users a comfortable phone to hold and keep in a pocket.the In simple words,  two screens is connected at two points and can be closed and opened freely like twin doors(as seen above).That also mean that there would be no need to develop a folding battery or circuit board.Samsung could be regarded as the first to out this concept but the company does not seem willing to pursue that aspect, perhaps due to issues with the design. However, Xiaomi’s own concept is different from Samsung’s. 

The patent application was made on August 26, 2015 but seems to have been approved now.There is no idea when the company plans to release this phone.But it might not be so soon but who knows.That is Xiaomi for you.
