Samsung already working on Galaxy S9



Hardly some days gone by the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ was launched,now we have report of Samsung Galaxy S9. At the time, the Galaxy S8 not even available in stores.

According to the recent reports, Samsung and Qualcomm have started to on next year’s Galaxy S9 flagship which will feature Snapdragon 845 chipset.The report also claims that either Samsung or Taiwan’s TSMC will start manufacturing the new chip.The report, however, doesn’t mention anything about Samsung’s future Exynos chips, or the tech specs of the Galaxy S9’s processors.


To recall, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ run on Google's latest OS Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Coming to specs, Samsung Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch QuadHD+ (2960x1440) 'Infinity Display' with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 570ppi pixel density,while the S8 Plus has 6.2 inched display. No bezels on the phones.The phone is perfectly symmetrical and beautifully curved.


Infinity display offers a large screen, which means users have to scroll less, and can multi task easily.Denison also talks about how a large screen is more fun for ‘entertainment’ purposes.comes with an end-to-end display which spills over the sides of the phone. The phone is made of pristine glass and an aluminum shell. This the highest ever screen to body ratio on a Samsung smartphone.Furthermore, both Galaxy S8 and S8+ have pressure-sensitive home buttons built right into the phones' screens.


On the optics front, the Galaxy S8 sports a 12MP dual-pixel camera with f/1.7 aperture and OIS. There is also a front-facing 8MP autofocus camera with f/1.7 aperture.

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 3000mAh battery.Galaxy S8 Plus comes with the same RAM and inbuilt storage. The duo support microSD card up to 256GB.It is backed by a larger 3500mAh battery supporting the same wireless fast-charging technology. This time Samsung has taken extra care of the battery after the Note7 failure.Battery safety is addressed next with an 8-point safety check.


Well, Snapdragon 835 chipset have 10-nanometer manufacturing technology. Snapdragon 835 is said to be 27% faster and 30% more energy efficient compared to chips operating on the 14-nanometer technology. Well, the report also claimed that Snapdragon 845 will be built on the 7nm process.

Asus accidentally leaked out four ZenFone 4-branded smartphone

Asus accidentally leaked the ZenFone 4 series on its French website, possibly revealing the unreleased phones a mere days ahead of the official launch. The leak indicates the launch of at least four new smartphones in the ZenFone 4 series, including the ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Max.Incidentally, Asus already launched the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia last month, but this leak suggests that a global variant of the smartphone is on the cards.
