Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to feature Snapdragon 836 processor:claim report

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone is expected to make a debut in August. Now a new report in Chinese publication ITHome claims Samsung’s upcoming flagship device will feature the Snapdragon 836 processor, which is salted to release next month.

Now a new report claims Galaxy Note 8 will feature the Snapdragon 836 processor as a minor upgrade to the Snapdragon 835 mobile platform. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 is rumored be an Octa-core processor, with clock speeds of up to 2.5 GHz octa-core. The GPU will be clocked at 740 Mhz.

Further, the report claims that flagship smartphones launching in the second half of the year like LG V30, Google Pixel 2, and Google Pixel 2 XL are all supposed to pack Snapdragon 836 chipset.

Previously a few details have now cropped up online showing the sketched schematics, and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.Now a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 With S Pen In Real-Life Image have been leaked(As seen Above)

A sketch image leaked by Slashleaks shows a large device with the same design aesthetic as the Galaxy S8. There is no Home Button and most of the front is taken up the display, leaving very thin bezels at the top and bottom. At the bottom edge, there is a S Pen slot, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The SIM slot is situated on the top edge, and both the edges have perforations, which are likely be the speakers. If the Galaxy Note 8 will sport top and bottom speakers, it would mean huge improvement in the audio department.

Furthermore, the leak also reveals that the Galaxy Note 8 will sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED 4K display and a Snapdragon 835 chipset for the US market. For international markets, Samsung is tipped to integrate a 9-series Exynos chipset that hasn't been announced yet. Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will pack a 6GB of RAM, and offer up to 256GB of storage. This means that the Note 8 will come in various storage variants, the largest one being 256GB. All of this is mere early rumours, and Samsung is most likely far off from finalising things on the Note 8 yet.

According to Value Walk, some of these specs rumors noted that the new Note will feature a dual-lens camera with force touch sensors. A number of features in the upcoming phone are already seen in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, the website further reported.SamMobile reports that the Korean electronics giant has already begun developing software for the successor to the Galaxy Note7.

Along with the Galaxy Note8, the report also mentions the software build numbers for the refurbished edition of the Galaxy Note7. After a few weeks of rumors and speculation, Samsung confirmed, just last week, that the Note7 was going to be refurbished, though, it would not be coming to the United States.

Anyway, here are the alleged software build numbers for the upcoming note devices:

Refurbished Galaxy Note7: N935LKLU2AQD2/ N935LLUC2AQD2/ N935LKLU2AQD2
Galaxy Note8: N950FXXU0AQC6/ N950FOXM0AQC6/ N950FXXU0AQC6
If that is the case, then fans are likely to expect Note features like the use of Note S-pen, air command preferences and Samsung Edge screen bar.(as seen above)

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is said to come with a front-facing fingerprint sensor button, unlike iPhone 8, which is rumoured to feature a fingerprint sensor embedded in to the display. A report in Korea’s The Naver quoted an unknown Samsung executive who told the site that the company made every effort to add the fingerprint scanner under the display, but it has failed to succeed.
